So millions of years ago the big guys at the top of everything, those that ruled over the balance of the world and such, thought that there were traitors among them messing with the balance and such. So they took them and cast them from on high (sort of like fallen angels) And now they rule over certain sectors of the afterlife. But when they were cast down pieces of them were ripped out... Not really pieces more like they were split in half. Ther other half was reborn on earth as a separate person. They cant remember anything about who they were like theyve had their memory wiped. So of course *fallen angel guy goes up to earth to find other half girl, the whole time not knowing that his other half is actually a person. Some shit happens... And boom.
