Sam slowly stepped inside the cell. He had been searching for this girl since he was fifteen, and his father had got him started. She was such a weapon. Able to destroy the most powerful men with a single touch. He planned on using her in battles and to torture captives. She wouldn't enjoy it, but he would make sure she came with him. He'd just kill her otherwise. When he stepped in, he stopped dead and stared at her. This girl was absolutely gorgeous. She was filthy and skinny as a twig, but she was beautiful and wretched and at that moment he wanted to do nothing but bring her home and take care of her. He realized he was staring and cleared his throat, giving a nervous chuckle. "Hello, Miss Aubrey."

[Jenna]

Aubrey stood up from her position on the floor and wiped imaginary dirt from the asylum pants. She frowned in confusion, as she had never seen the man standing in front of her before. Then again, the only person she'd seen in the past few years was Alice, the lady who brought her her food and water. What was this man doing in front of her? And how did her know her name? "Who are you," she asked him. Her voice came out soft and scratchy, and she wasn't sure what to do. She couldn't let him touch her; he'd freeze.

[Fox]

Sam took a tentative step closer and held out his hand. It was covered in a leather glove. "My name is Sam Fletcher. I'm the leader of the government in this area of North America. And I'd like to free you from this asylum and have you come work for me. There are a few other people like you where I live. They can teach you how to better control your power when you touch people."

[Jenna]

Aubrey jumped back away from him and stared at his hand bewildered. He knew what she was capable of and yet he was offering his hand out to her. Was he stupid? "What...why? What do you need me for? I could just stay in here and no one would notice. It's been a few years now; I'm not really sure, the days all mix together in here. No body cares. Why you? Why now?" She wrapped her arms around her back, glad that she was immune to her power.

[Fox]

Sam sighed and reached for her again, taking her hand. The ice started creeping onto his fingers, then melted suddenly. "These gloves have a heating mechanism to protect me from your frost. I'm wearing a full suit with the same purpose underneath my clothes. You can touch me, Aubrey. It's safe."

[Jenna]

"Sir, I'm still not understanding what you want me for," Aubrey replied tentatively. She took another step back away from the man and shook her head. "And don't touch me. I don't care what you have on. Just don't touch me. I don't wanna hurt anyone..I don't wanna do it. If that's what it's for, then you can forget it."

[Fox]

"Aubrey, you have to stop blaming yourself for whatever got you in here. This is a harsh world, and no one is going to cut you any slack. We've all done monstrous things. What I'm offering you is something most people can't dream of. You get freedom, a warm bed and hot meals, a well-paying job. Just come with me and I'll explain everything. If you don't come willingly, I'll remove you from this place by force."

[Jenna]

Aubrey threw her hands up and paced the wall as she spoke. "Why can't you just tell me now?! I want to know why you're here! I don't want to wait until AFTER I'm out of here and then have to stay locked up in some other room. Please, I'm begging you, just tell me." She frowned and looked at him instead of the floor her eyes had been trained on.

[Fox]

Sam frowned and crossed his arms over his chest, looking at the small, thin girl with frustration. "To put it bluntly, we want you to torture people. There are others at the compound I live in that have a similar gift, and they'll teach you to control yours so you can touch people without hurting them. Likewise, you'll be able to magnify and control the amount of pain you inflict when you torture rebel captives trying to take down the government. We need you Aubrey. And honestly, I think you need us too."
